Street food is a type of a ready-to-eat food sold in a street or other public places, such as in markets, fair, footpath, near bus stops, railway staitions, outside schools or colleges, by a hawker or vendor, often from a portable  food cart, kiosk or a food truck. While some street foods are regional, having spread beyond their region of origin.
